European Convenience Food GmbH (ECF) is a specialist for frozen convenience food. With around 380 employees and modern production facilities, ECF is in a position, thanks to flexible line management, to quickly and flexibly ensure the production output of around 60 tonnes per day on a production area of around 22,000 square metres. Four strong food brands are united under one roof: Vegeta, Karl Kemper, KK-Snackline and the service brand Eichkamp for industry and trade. We were able to accompany two of them during the Internorga trade fair.

Vegeta and Snackline appeal to a young audience. The conceptual goal was therefore to create a feel-good atmosphere oriented towards the urban café and restaurant scene. The visitor should feel at home from the very first moment. Industrial lamps above the tables and individual herb pots accentuated the loft character. A great focus was placed on the interior design, furniture and decoration, without forgetting indispensable structural aspects. Urgently needed rooms such as the kitchen and wardrobe were seamlessly integrated into the concept, and walls and suspension convey advertising messages. Also technical elements like screens and hypeboxes should look as if they belonged to the furnishing of a living room. In the sense of a semi-open kitchen concept and to facilitate the infrastructure, we installed a serving hatch from kitchen to stand.
