As the largest platform for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, IFAT Munich is the international meeting place for the industry - with innovative offerings that set standards for the future.

In Hall A2, FILTRARTTEC showed solutions for sludge dewatering and automated tank cleaning. The sustainable solutions aim to reduce disposal volumes while recovering valuable materials.

This year we imitated in detail two containers lying on top of each other, into which one can look: struts made of wooden materials, taking into account tiny details such as forklift shoes, receptacle for connecting clamp and graphically depicted container corrugated sheet metal, imitate the container in such detail that it was thought to be real.

At the heart of sludge dewatering is the treatment of industrial sludge by solid-liquid separation. This process was visualized by jars, which also served as decoration with great color accents. We also included the filter cake, which is the end product of the filtration process, as wall decoration behind the bar.

The highlight is the in-house and intricately made pipe exhibit, which serves as a discreet room divider for our meeting corner. Dynamic seating options have been created by combining lounge furniture and bar tables made from old oil drums.

A big focus of our communication booth has been sustainability: Using QR codes, visitors could download info materials and brochures, so we created a paperless booth with sustainable & plastic-free giveaways.

Despite a small booth where storage and kitchen had to fit on a size of 6.5m², culinary well-being was provided with a sustainable catering concept.
